The Candy Stand
Every year, the TOJam organizers setup a little shop inside the jam to sell pop, candy, chips, and snacks. Before TOJam, Rob and Em drive to Costco and buy as much stuff as we think jammers will eat. That stuff eventually finds itself on a table selling at the low price we paid. That precious little table, stacked to the nines with magical delights, is the Candy Stand.
This year (2010), Big Blue Bubble sponsored the Candy Stand so everything was free. By Saturday evening, the biggest candystand we ever created was gone - even the bananas. New this year was 200 cans of Red Bull provided by Tall Tree Games. People drank them like soft drinks, forcing us to pace their release.
