Description
2 players required.
Best played on a Nintendo DS.
Pong so fresh, it'll spoil in the fridge. Designed for 2 players both holding a Nintendo DS, controlling paddles on each side. You can get a taste from the PC, but you need to copy this to your DS for the full experience. Clouds and obstacles periodically scroll in from the dual screen, making it more than a hood ornament.

How to Play
Nintendo DS
Player 1 - Up & Down
Player 2 - X & B

Windows PC
Player 1 - W & S
Player 2 - 8 & 5

Installation Instructions
Just unzip and run "SteamPonk.bat".
If you're knowledgeable in the copying arts,
the .nds file is included.

Technologies Used
PAlib, Photoshop

Fun Facts
Our first TOJam SuperGroup! Team Invisible Ninja Squid is a combination of previous teams Invisible Ninja Parade and Squidware. They pooled their art and programming resources into 2 games simultaneously - this and the flash masterpiece Flip the Beach.

Collectively, they have worked on Solar Force Toronto, Yarrgh!, Killer Coding Ninja Monkey, Urban Tactics, Der Baron Von UberCheesen Cheese and floated on most TOJam #1 games. There's even talk of a missing & mysterious "Plant Commander".

Jim's Corner
If you're like me, you probably have no interest in playing another Pong game. Don't make that mistake. Playing together on a Nintendo DS is a new experience on that platform. Combine with stellar pixel art reminiscent of Xevious, terrain that interacts with the ball, and a dual screen that shows you what's coming, and you've got a great little game you can carry to the neighbors. Plus, it's much lighter when 2 people!

If you had told me that one of my favourite games at TO Jam 4 would be a pong clone, I would have laughed. Yet, here it is. A truly great pong clone. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
