Before You Register

Before you register, please read the following points.
We are simply trying to avoid any misunderstandings.

  1. We are Full. New registrations will be placed on a waiting list.
  2. Once you submit your registration, you are making a commitment to attend the jam. We need you to attend because without your finished game, the jam will be a failure. Also, we're saving a spot for you that could go to someone else.
  3. We CAN provide you with a George Brown machine!

If you're a George Brown student, you're all set.
It's the same machine you've grown to love.

If you're not a George Brown student, you should consider still bringing your own machine. The machine comes with Flash + Stuff (finding out what stuff is, and whether it's MAC or PC). If you restart, the hard drive reverts back to its original image. Anything you installed or saved will be lost. Hence, you can only temporarily install apps, and files must be saved to an external USB key/drive.
  4. You are coming to make a game (developing code, creating art, recording music, design & testing). You are not coming to hang out, spectate, or play games - we currently don't have room to support this. If you simply want to check out the event, please contact rob to arrange a visit.
  5. Each team member must sign up separately.
  6. If you're working remotely, please register and check "Virtual". This year, we want you included in the TOJam community.
  7. After you submit, you will immediately receive an e-mail from the TOJam server confirming we received your information. If you do not receive this e-mail, wait a few minutes (check your spam filter) then contact jim immediately.
  8. Within the next 5 days we will send another e-mail confirming your spot. Without this final confirmation e-mail, your spot is NOT reserved. Please bring a printed copy of this confirmation e-mail to the event.
  9. If you are an artist attending as part of a team, you are NOT considered a floater. Ensure you fill in your team name on the registration form. If you are an artist attending alone, you are automatically considered a floater. Please choose the Role "Graphics - Floater" or "Sound - Floater" on the form.
